Kiwanis Club of Citrus Heights is part of Division 44! Our goal each year is to visit every single club in the division – with our club’s members, that means we need four visitors per visit. In doing so, we keep the lines of communication open and have the opportunity to bounce ideas off of each other.
Our ten scholarship award winners attended a meeting of our club on June 3. Kylie Andreadakis, Addison Bernel, Matthew Choi, Annie Hong, Kelli Olson, Brianna Rorling, and Brooklyn Sanfilippo from Bella Vista; Sneha Gupta, Leah Werner, (Benjamin Lee absent) from Mesa Verde, spoke about the college they will attend and their career aspirations.
Our guest speaker at that meeting was County Supervisor Rosario Rodriguez. Ms Rodriguez represents Sacramento County’s District 4. Its two incorporated cities are Folsom and Citrus Heights. Unincorporated areas are Antelope, Carmichael, Elverta, Fair Oaks, Foothill Farms, Gold River, North Highlands, Orangevale, Rancho Murieta, and Rio Linda, which are her primary focus.
