Thank you for coming and speaking to our members! It was a pleasure to speak with the Kiwanis Club of Citrus Heights this week and share updates on the important work happening throughout Sacramento County. 0 CommentsComment on Facebook
Our guest speaker at that meeting was County Supervisor Rosario Rodriguez. Ms Rodriguez represents Sacramento County’s District 4. Its two incorporated cities are Folsom and Citrus Heights. Unincorporated areas are Antelope, Carmichael, Elverta, Fair Oaks, Foothill Farms, Gold River, North Highlands, Orangevale, Rancho Murieta, and Rio Linda, which are her primary focus. She said that the major problems facing the county are funding deficits, increases in unhoused people…and potholes. She urged our scholarship winners to consider an internship with the county.
